Daylight Saving Time = mornings plunged into darkness
Daylight Saving Time makes mornings disappear. And, it messes with our body clocks. Scientists say we never recover.
Here in Indianapolis, the sun sets later than any of the 50 largest metro areas. That’s because we’re on Eastern time instead of Central. If we have to have DST, put me in Central Time.

Yes, I have been wanting to be on Central time ever since I moved to Central Indiana. While the longer evenings are nice, especially in the summer (except for parents who are trying to maintain a reasonable bedtime for the little ones), the price is great and the dark mornings in winter are dangerous and very much not what we are wired for.
I’m a morning person…work best in the morning and Eastern DST slows me down. Central Time would definitely be better.
I like mornings, too, but I work, so the evenings are nice for gardening. I know tomorrow at work everyone will be tiiiiirrrreeeeddddd
I’m a morning person and Eastern DST just totally messes with my natural rhythm. I never quite adjust. I’m struck by the lateness of morning here whenever I visit friends in Chicago, where morning comes in well, early morning, rather than mid-morning.
Central Time.
Indeed you should add ‘Angelina’ sedum to your must-have list. It’s one of the best four-season plants in the garden. I have mine paired with ‘Blue Spruce’ sedum, which holds it own in winter, but does not have the same season-changing assets that ‘Angelina’ has.
