Indianapolis — The Hoosier Gardener, Jo Ellen Meyers Sharp, will conduct a break-out session at Speaking of Women’s Health, Aug. 28 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis
Sharp will provide 10 tips for sustainable living for household tasks and landscaping chores. This is the second year Sharp has been invited to speak at the annual event, a joint effort of WFYI and St.Vincent Hospital.
A former newspaper reporter, she’s a longtime freelance writer and landscape consultant. Her garden column, The Hoosier Gardener, appears on Saturdays in The Indianapolis Star and at her Web site.
She is editor and part owner of Indiana Living Green: A Hoosier’s Guide to a Sustainable Lifestyle magazine, and serves as a volunteer on WFYI’s public relations committee. The magazine donated copies of the current issue of ILG for participants’ conference packets.
