As a way to make it through this rough economy, I’ve launched a couple of business ventures you might like to know about.
Going to Pot! is a container planting business. I come to your house or business and pot up your window boxes, urns and other containers. These can be seasonal plantings or multi-seasonal.
With Indy Garden Coach, I visit you at your property and answer questions and make suggestions about your plants, maintenance or design. My job is to encourage you to do what needs to be done and, on occasion, give permission to take out a shrub or tree that needs to go. I’m always surprised at how reluctant people are to remove plants that are not doing what they want or that struggle to thrive or survive.
I also work with garden designer Wendy Ford, owner of Landscape Fancies, on several commercial and residential properties throughout the Indianapolis metro area.
As you probably know, I practice sustainable landscape and gardening methods and can offer advice on low-maintenance, effective and environmentally friendly ways for all of your growing adventures.
