Tree Luggers, a charitable initiative of the Governor Bob Orr Indiana Entrepreneurial Fellowship, offers a pretty cool service for those of us who are too busy or otherwise unable to take our Christmas trees to Indy Parks for recycling.
For a tax-deductible donation, the Tree Luggers (with the slogan ‘We’re pining fir your trees’) pick up your tree and deliver it to Indy Parks, where it is recycled into mulch. The donations are given to area charities. Pick up dates remaining: Jan. 16 and Jan. 23.
