We had a great turnout at Indiana Living Green’s Green Scene at the Indianapolis City Market March 6. There were about 50 people in each of the vegetable gardening seminars and about 30 who watched and sampled Chef Wendell Fowler’s recipes of collard greens and various savory ingredients.
The wine panel, with maven Jill Ditmire from the Mass Avenue Wine Shoppe, Meredith Easley from Easley Winery and Sarah Smith from Mallow Run, flowed with great information on local grown and produced libations.
People also were abuzz about the terminology defined segment from Lynn Jenkins, who talked about food labels, what they mean and where to buy local.
