Novel theme for Flower & Patio Show

March 13 through 21, 2010 — Indiana Flower & Patio Show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, Indianapolis. Founded in 1958, this year’s theme is A Novel Idea. At least 29 gardens will be designed with the theme of a favorite book. More than 200 vendors feature home and garden products and services. About 100,000 people visit the show each year.

Flower & Patio Show ticket giveaway

The Hoosier Gardener, in conjunction with the Indiana Flower & Patio Show, is giving away two free tickets to the event. If you’d like to attend, you can register for two free passes by leaving a comment at this posting, making sure to include your name and e-mail. The drawing will be March 8, 2010. The Hoosier Gardener will contact you by e-mail to find out where to mail the tickets. Only one entry per person, please. Good luck!

    I have never been but thought I would go this year to see if I can find a way for my hummingbirds, honeybees, and kids to all live in harmony during the summer season! I’m hoping to plant things in just the right places this time around, maybe the show would be a good place to start.

    My daughter & I have made it a tradition of going to the Indiana Flower & Patio Show. What a great way to get ideas & see new flower colors & gardens. Love this website too…very knowledgeable on upcoming events & books to read. Can’t wait to plant my flower!
